In this episode of the podcast, I ask several questions about your self storage marketing activities. Answer these questions correctly, and your store will generate more phone and walk-in traffic then you can handle. Ignore these questions and you are bound to struggle much more then you should.
I call this episode, “Questions that Ring”. The title has a double meaning. These questions “ring” with truth, helping you discover if you are marketing your store to the best of your ability. Also, when you have solid answers to these questions, your phone will start ringing off the hook, and your door chime will drive you crazy with its ringing as your “walk-ins” start becoming “run-in’s”.

There is a very famous quote attributed to J. Paul Getty. He is credited with saying, “I would rather earn 1% off 100 people’s efforts than 100% of my own efforts.” Getty, brilliant as he was, inherently knew that getting lots of other people to give just a little, resulted in much more ‘work’ getting done them if one person tried to do it all themselves.

I like to think of it as either “ideas and concepts that fly up at about 30,000 feet”, versus, tactical activities that are right down at ground level.
